Changes, Cancellations and Refunds: Frequently Asked Questions

For tickets bought at least seven days before departure on flights to or from the United States, U.S. Department of Transportation rules may allow a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of purchase. How this applies to tickets bought through an agent can differ, so contact us as soon as possible.

Refundable fares are refunded according to the airline's rules. Non-refundable fares may receive a travel credit, sometimes minus a fee, or nothing.

It depends on the fare. Changing a ticket can bring an airline change fee, a fare difference and, if you booked through an agent, an agent service fee. Ask before you request a change so you know the total.

Some airlines' lowest fare levels do not allow changes at all. The change rules can be very different between fare levels on the same flight, so check them before you pay.

If an airline cancels your flight or significantly changes it, you may be entitled to a refund under applicable law. The Department of Transportation sets what counts as a significant change. Keep your booking reference and we will help you request the refund.
